MANILA, Philippines – The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) has released the schedule of the 2021 Pharmacist Licensure Exam (PhLE) through PRC Resolution No. 1283 Series of 2020 entitled “Schedule of Licensure Exams for the Year 2021”.

The latter was scheduled on April 25-26, 2021 and November 25-26, 2021.
Update as of April 16, 2021: PRC has postponed the conduct of Pharmacy Licensure Exam (PhLE) in the areas under General Community Quarantine (GCQ) pursuant to the directives of IATF.
PhLE are cancelled and rescheduled on June 29-30, 2021 at the following areas:
- NCR
- Baguio
- Davao
- Tacloban
- Tuguegarao
- Lucena
Meanwhile, PhLE will pursue on April 25-26, 2021 to the following areas:
- Cagayan de Oro
- Cebu
- Iloilo
- Legaspi
- Pagadian
- Rosales, Pangasinan
- Zamboanga
Originally, the 2021 licensure exam for aspiring Pharmacists is set to held at PRC testing centers located at the National Capital Region (NCR), Baguio, Cagayan de Oro, Cebu, Davao, Iloilo, Legaspi, Lucena, Pagadian, Rosales, Tacloban, Tuguegarao and Zamboanga.
Several board exams scheduled on first quarter of 2021 were cancelled and re-scheduled (see below) due to COVID-19 pandemic. However, there were also licensure exams that pushed through following a strict health and safety protocols imposed by the commission. Among are the board exams for Medical Technologists/ MTLE, Social Workers, Veterinarians and Physicians/ PLE.
Is the April 2021 Pharmacist board exam cancelled/ postponed?
Yes, in areas under General Community Quarantine (GCQ), Modified Enhanced Community Quarantine (MECQ) and Enhanced Community Quarantine (ECQ)
On March 26, 2021, the Inter-Agency Task Force on the Management of Emerging Infectious Diseases (IATF) has allowed the conduct of board exams scheduled on May up to June 2021.

Good day, PRC. May I ask po if when would be the expected date of board exam for those who are affected with the ECQ, MECQ and GCQ areas this April. Would it be possible po if there would be a separate board examination later than April? Some of the reviewees travelled here in Baguio before the announcement of GCQ.
