MANILA, Philippines – The Commission on Higher Education (CHED) released the list of approved applicants/ nominees for the Instruction, Research and Sectoral Engagement (IRSE) for AY 2016-2017.
The first batch consist of 78 nominees and the second batch consist of 59 nominees from Luzon, Visayas and Mindanao. The applicants were approved by the Commission En Banc (CEB) following the provisions of CHED Memorandum Order No. 14, Series of 2016.
The applicants has been nominated and approved for the program to conduct and finish research from 6 months to two years as part-time or full time engagement.

IRSE is one of the programs of CHED for faculty members of HEIs who are mainly affected by K-12 transition program.
The program aims to give chance to deloaded teachers to improve their research and sectoral skills during the affected academic years.
