12:00 Noon: Marvic Leonen said in his official Twitter account that the list of passers circulating online is not the official copy. To quote,

Please refer only to the official copy of the list of bar passers. It has a watermark “official copy”. Any other list (with any other watermark) may not be accurate.

10:40 AM: Results are out! As announced, 8,241 out of 11,402 (72.28%) examinees successfully passed the Bar 2020-2021 bar exams.

10:30 AM: Takers are now allowed inside the SC Quadrangle to wait for announcements.

10:25 AM: The Special en banc session will begin at 10AM today. After that, Bar Chairperson Marvic Leonen will make an announcement on results inside the Dignitaries Lounge of the SC main building. The announcement will be shown on the LED screen in the SC quadrangle, which will be partly opened to the public. | via ABS-CBN news.

The Supreme Court said that preparations are now in full swing for the release of 2022 bar exam results today as scheduled.

Marvic Leonen said that the fire the happened earlier today in the Supreme Court will not affect the release date of the bar exams.

Digitalized Bar Exams

The digitalized 2022 bar exams for 2020-2021 is the largest batch of examinees in history. This is the batch that will fulfill the lack of new lawyers that happened within the last two years due to the pandemic. A total of 11,790 has paid their application to take the exams. The exams were headed by the 2020/21 Bar Examinations Chairperson, Justice Marvic M.V.F. Leonen in partnership with several Local Government Units (LGUs) nationwide.

The 2022 licensure exam for aspiring lawyers is originally scheduled on 2020 and 2021. After several postponements, it finally pushed through on February 4 and 6, 2022 at thirty-one (31) local testing sites in the National Capital Region (Makati, Pasay, Manila, Quezon City, and Taguig City), Baguio City, San Fernando City-La Union, Tuguegarao City-Cagayan, Bayombong – Nueva Vizcaya, Angeles-Pampanga, Lipa City-Batangas, Calapan City-Oriental Mindoro, Naga-Camarines Sur, Iloilo City, Bacolod City, Cebu City, Dumaguete City, Tacloban City, Zamboanga City, Cagayan de Oro City, Iligan City, Davao City and General Santos City.
