MOVED: November 2021 Geology Licensure Exam, now Computer-based

MANILA, Philippines – The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) thru Resolution No. 1440 series of 2021 has postponed the conduct of the November 16-18, 2021 Geology Licensure Exam (GLE) in consideration of the pilot implementation of the computer-based licensure exam.

The postponed board exam is now re-scheduled on December 27-29, 2021. To quote,

In consideration of the target pilot implementation of the Professional Regulation Commission’s in-house Computer-Based Licensure Examination (CBLE) System, the public is hereby informed that the November 16, 17, and 18, 2021 Geologists Licensure Examination (GLE) has been rescheduled to December 27, 28, and 29, 2021 to allow sufficient time for the needed technical and logistical preparations.

The resolution stated that “upon checking the remaining licensure examinations this year, the Geologists Licensure Examination (GLE) was identified as suitable for the CBLE initial implementation considering the manageable number of examinees of one hundred forty-six (146) to be conducted in two (2) examination venues in PRC Morayta and PRC Philippine International Convention Center”
