MANILA, Philippines – The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) released the schedule of the recently postponed September 2021 Physician Licensure Exam in Metro Manila and Tuguegarao City, Cagayan. It will now be held on October 30-31 and November 1-2, 2021 “subject to the favorable endorsement of the Department of Health (DOH) and directives of the Inter-Agency Task Force (IATF) and concerned Local Government Units”.
The September 2021 Physician board exams were conducted on September 11, 12, 18 & 19, 2021 at Baguio, Cagayan de Oro,Cebu, Davao, Iloilo, Legaspi, Lucena, Tacloban, Tuguegarao and Zamboanga. The Board of Medicine is composed of its Chairman, Dr. Clarita C. Maaño and its members, Dr. Eleanor B. Almoro, Dr. Godofreda V. Dalmacion, Dr. Zenaida L. Antonio, Dr. Rafael R. Castillo and Dr. Raquel S. Sayo.

Several board exams scheduled on first and second quarter of 2021 were cancelled and re-scheduled (see below) due to COVID-19 pandemic. However, there were also licensure exams that pushed through following a strict health and safety protocols imposed by the commission. Among are the board exams for Medical Technologists/ MTLE, Social Workers, Veterinarians and Physicians/ PLE.

PRC has released the schedule of board exams for the year 2021 on November 2020 through Resolution No. 1283 Series of 2020. These includes the opening of online processing, deadline of filing, target release of results, among other important announcements.
