NLE RESULTS: November 2022 Nursing Board Exam Passers, Topnotchers

MANILA, Philippines – The November 2022 Nursing Licensure Exam (NLE) results including the complete board list of passers, top 10 examinees, and overall performance of schools are released by the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) Board of Nursing in twelve (12) working days after the last day of exams.

PRC announces that 18,529 out of 24,903 (74.40%) successfully passed the November 2022 NLE.

The Nurse board exam was conducted on November 12-13, 2022 at testing centers in the National Capital Region, Baguio, Cagayan de Oro, Cebu, Davao, Iloilo, Koronadal, Legaspi, Lucena, Pagadian, Pampanga, Rosales, Tacloban, Tuguegarao and Zamboanga.

The Board of Nursing is headed by its Chairman, Elsie A. Tee, and its members, Carmelita C. Divinagracia, Merle L. Salvani, Zenaida C. Gagno, Leah Primitiva S. Paquiz, Marylou B. Ong, Elizabeth C. Lagrito.

Registration Schedule and Requirements for new Nurses

The schedule of online appointments for issuance of Professional ID and Certificate of Registration for the new Nurses will be held on the following dates:

  • January 9 – 13, January 16 – 20 & January 23 – 27, 2023

Initial registrants are advised to register online via PRC official website via https://online.prc.gov.ph/ and follow the steps in online registration. Here are the registration requirements:

  • Notice of Admission/NOA (for identification purposes only)
  • Duly accomplished Oath Form or Panunumpa ng Propesyonal
  • Two (2) pieces of passport-sized ID photos in white background and with complete name tag
  • Two (2) sets of documentary stamp
  • One (1) piece short brown envelope

PRC added that successful examinees shall personally register and sign in the Roster of Registered Professionals.

How to verify my board exam rating?

The verification of ratings and test results for the Nurse licensure exams will be available online a few days after posting the results.

Successful takers can refer to PRC official website and use the Verification Page to know their board examination passing rate.

As posted, a passer shall only provide the exam name, the date of examination, the application number, first name, last name, and the birthdate.

When and where are the Oath-Taking ceremonies?

The newly licensed Nurses’ oath-taking ceremony will be done online, now referred to as the “e-oath.” The application system for the e-oath can be accessed online via PRC dedicated portal at https://online.prc.gov.ph/ and select “e-OATH” as a transaction.

Inductees are required to print the “OATH OF PROFESSIONAL” form that is downloadable at the PRC Online Services.

Meanwhile, PRC has started scheduling face-to-face oath-taking for newly licensed professionals. This section will be updated should PRC conduct face-to-face oath-taking for new NLE 2022 passers.

When is the release of results?

Update November 29, 2022: NLE Results 2022 might also be released earlier or later than the target date, like with the other PRC licensure exams. We will keep you posted on this page.

As per PRC Resolution No. 1439 series of 2021, the November 2022 NLE results will be released on or before December 2, 2022.

What is the coverage of Nursing board exams?

The November 2022 Nursing licensure exam covered topics from community health nursing, care of healthy or at-risk mother and child, and care of clients with physiologic and psychosocial alterations.

As per Board of Nursing, the tests draw basic knowledge, skills and attitudes in the major subject areas specifically in fundamentals of nursing including professional adjustments, maternal and child nursing, community health and communicable disease nursing, nursing of adolescents, adults and aged, and mental health and psychiatric nursing.

The examination also tests competencies in relation to the eleven (11) key areas of responsibility contained in the Competency Standards of Nursing Practice in the Philippines. Aforesaid key-areas are categorized as follows:

Previous Exams

The Nursing Licensure Exam, or NLE, is one of the PRC-regulated exams with many examinees.

In the latest NLE held on May 2022, 6,616 out of 9,729 (68.00%) hurdled the exams. Kezia Kyleen Galit Gonzales from Emilio Aguinaldo College Manila and Nora Jane Bacarisas Staveley from Our Lady of Fatima University – Valenzuela shared the top spot for having 90.00% rating. Far Eastern University – Nicanor Reyes Med. Found. was the top performing school having 98.28%.

On November 2021, NLE, 6,086 out of 11,828 (51.45%) examinees passed. Kiarra Belle Arante Poblador from Silliman University ranked first in the exams with a rating of 89.40%, Francine Beatriz Liao Cruz from Southville International School and Colleges and Natelie Joyce Mariano from Medici Di Makati College, Inc., both having 88.80%.

In the July 2021 NLE, 5,008 out of 7,746 (64.65%) examinees passed. Haydee Soriano Bacani from Philippines Women’s University Manila ranked first garnering a rating of 89.40%. Saint Louis University topped the performing schools’ list for having 100.00% overall passing rate.

    Hindi po ako nakapasa pag limang take ko na baba pa din ng average ko sayang lng pala ang ang pinag aralan ko nursing 4yrs di nman magagamit masakit nakaka suicidal anxienty depression ganto po pala nararamdaman pag failure sa buhay.. ending papasukin ko lahat ng review center ng makapasa haha.. wala na palA pera pang review congrats po sa mga nkapasa.????

      Wag k mawalan ng pag asa.
      Bakit?i graduated yr 2006.take ng take ng take.at hndi n mabilang…..napermanent n ako s trabaho ko s gobyerno.
      Isang araw ng exam ako…at ngayon pumasa n po ako.

    ang lahat ng pumasa lumayas na kayu sa pinas daming opportunity dito sa abroad Basura ang HC delivery system dyan sa pinas kahit yung gumagawa ng exam dyan yung mga tanong basura pati yung tao. 74% lang ang nakapasa paano yung iba hinde pumasa anong gagawin nila kaya madamot talaga ang lahi ng pinoy wala basura talaga ,

      Negosyo kasi yan brad marami babagsak marami ulit mag aaply sa prc . kaya masaya yan sila pag maraming failure uonlad ang kabuhay nila . Hahaha yung mga tanong hinde mo mawari kung saan galing matatanda na kasi ang gumawa ng questions. yung mga kakilala ko hinde pumasa nanduun nag titinda ng isda tang inang Kawawa. swerte ng mga pulitiko walang exam hahaha instant money pa damn bro????

      Luh, HAHAHAHA ambitter naman masyado. Sinisi pa talaga sa PRC ang hindi pag pasa HAHAHAHAHAHAHA parang kasalanan pa ng Pilipinas na hindi ma ipasa ang Licensure Exam Hahahahahahaha ????????

    exactly ganun naman talaga sa pilipinas hawak ni prc ang buhay at pangarap ng bawat pilipino.ang taas standard nyan. dapat maipasa mo ang exam kundi patay kana hinde ka makakahanap ng trabaho. nag aral kapa sa lagay nayan at gumastos . ilang buhay na kaya ang sinira ng ahensya nato, eh ang lilit naman ng sahud ng mg professional sa aten . pinag kakait pa ang privilege na maka hanap buhay.basura kayu prc

    as if naman kung makapasa ka dyan eh yayaman kana . wala rin yang silbe yng exam nyo mas hihirap pa kayu dyan di yan makakatulong. Mabuti p pa mag negosyo kayu yayaman pa kayu nursing eh mataas lang kunti sa KATULONG ang sweldo real talk hahaha. useless yan mind set nyo ganyan lang maghihirap kayu for the rest of your life .
