Performance of Schools: April 2023 Electronics Engineer ECE, ECT Board Exams Results

MANILA – The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) announces the list of top-performing schools and a summary of schools’ performances in the April 2023 Electronics Engineering and Electronics Technician (ECE-ECT) three (3) working days after the last day of exams.

The official results include the list of passers, top 10 examinees (topnotchers), the performance of schools, oath-taking schedule, and registration requirements, among other important announcements.

The Electronics Engineering board exam was conducted on April 19-20, 2023, while the Electronics Technician on April 21, 2023, at testing centers located at Metro Manila, Baguio, Cagayan de Oro, Cebu, Davao, Iloilo, Koronadal, Legazpi, Lucena, Pagadian, Pampanga, Rosales, Tacloban, Tuguegarao, Zamboanga, and Palawan.

The Board of Electronics Engineering is headed by its Chairman, Engr. Alnar L. Detalla and its members, Engr. Enrico Claro R. Delmoro and Engr. Herminio J. Orbe.

Performance of Schools Summary

The performance of schools for April 2023 Electronics Engineering and Electronics Technician licensure exams in alphabetical order as per R.A. 8981, otherwise known as PRC Modernization Act of 2000 Section 7 (m) or “to monitor the performance of schools in licensure examinations and publish results thereof in a newspaper of national circulation”

Release of Results

The April 2023 Electronics Technician/ECT board exam results will be released on April 26, 2023, as stated in PRC Resolution No. 1589 series of 2022, entitled “Schedule of the Licensure Exam for the Year 2023”.

Schedule of Registration

The schedule of online appointments for issuance of Professional ID and Certificate of Registration for the new Electronics Engineers and Electronics Technicians will be held on the following date(s).

Date(s) of Registration: May 22 – 26, May 29 – 31, June 1 – 2 and June 5 – 6, 2023

Initial registrants are advised to register online via PRC official website https://online.prc.gov.ph/ and follow the steps in online registration. Here are the registration requirements:

  • Notice of Admission/NOA (for identification purposes only)
  • Duly accomplished Oath Form or Panunumpa ng Propesyonal
  • Two (2) pieces of passport-sized ID photos on white background with a complete name tag
  • Two (2) sets of documentary stamp
  • One (1) piece short brown envelope

PRC added that successful examinees shall personally register and sign in the Roster of Registered Professionals.

Verification of Rating

The verification of ratings and test results for the electronics engineer and electronics technician licensure exams given by the PRC Board of Electronics Engineering will be available online a few working days after the posting of results.

Successful takers can refer to PRC official website and use the Verification Page to know their board examination passing rate.

As posted, a passer shall only provide the exam name, the date of examination, the application number, first name and last name, and the birth date.

Oath-Taking Ceremonies

All successful examinees interested in attending the face-to-face mass oath-taking shall register no later than 12:00 NN of the day before the date of the oath-taking at http://online.prc.gov.ph to confirm their attendance. The exact date of whether the oath-taking will be conducted face-to-face or virtual will be provided here once announced.

Further, inductees shall bring ANY of the following on the day of the oath-taking:

  • Vaccination Card
  • Negative RT-PCR results took within 48 hours before the oath-taking

Inductees are advised to register and confirm their attendance in the regions where they took their licensure examination and intend to register as professionals.

Meanwhile, those unable to attend the scheduled face-to-face mass oath-taking may attend the online oath-taking or request a special oath-taking.
