POSTPONED: 2021 Optometrist Licensure Exams (OLE)

MANILA, Philippines – The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) has postponed the conduct of the previously re-scheduled April 2021 Optometrist Licensure Exam (OLE) – Practical Phase as well as the October 2021 Optometrist Licensure Exams (Written and Practical) as recommended by the “Integrated Philippines Association of Optometrists, Philippine Association of Deans of Schools and Colleges of Optometry, and group of examinees of the 2021 OLE from various schools in the Philippines”.

The postponed Optometry board exams are re-scheduled on December 2021 (written) and January 2022 (practical).

“Examinees of the previously rescheduled April 2021 OLE Practical Phase shall be combined with the October 2021 OLE Practical Phase.”

PRC likewise requests for public’s understanding and cooperation as “complies with the guidelines set forth by the Inter-Agency Task Force for the Management of Emerging Infectious Disease.”

PRC has released the schedule of board exams for the year 2021 on November 2020 through Resolution No. 1283 Series of 2020. These includes the opening of online processing, deadline of filing, target release of results, among other important announcements.
