MANILA, Philippines – The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) has postponed the conduct of the October 2021 Certified Public Accountant Licensure Exam (CPALE) in testing centers located in National Capital Region (NCR)/ Metro Manila.
The postponed CPALE in NCR are re-scheduled on December 16-18, 2021.
The PRC’s postponement of October 2021 CPALE is due to the extension of General Community Quarantine Alert Level 4 in Metro Manila. To quote,
In view of the extension of the General Community Quarantine Alert Level 4 in the National Capital Region (NCR) until October 15, 2021, and following the Inter-Agency Task Force on Emerging Infectious Diseases (IATF-EID) guidelines on the pilot implementation of alert level system for COVID-19 response prohibiting the conduct of examination activities in areas classified under Alert Level 4, the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) advises the public that the October 10, 11, and 12, 2021 Certified Public Accountants Licensure Examination (CPALE) in NCR has been rescheduled to December 16, 17, and 18, 2021.

Meanwhile, CPALE will proceed as scheduled on October 10-12, 2021 at testing centers located in Baguio, Cagayan de Oro, Cebu, Davao, Iloilo, Koronadal, Legaspi, Lucena, Pagadian, Pampanga, Rosales, Tacloban, Tuguegarao, and Zamboanga.
