MANILA, Philippines – The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) has postponed the conduct of the October 6-7, 2021 Geodetic Engineer Licensure Exam (GELE) in testing centers nationwide.
The postponed GELE is now re-scheduled on December 22-23, 2021.
The PRC’s postponement of October 2021 Geodetic Engineering is due to the following reasons, to quote,
Upon the recommendations and endorsement unanimously obtained from the twenty-eight (28) Higher Education Institutions offering Bachelor of Science in Geodetic Engineering, the Geodetic Engineers of the Philippines Incorporated, the Accredited Integrated Professional Organization of the Geodetic Engineering profession, and in considerations of the current COVID-19 restrictions being implemented by various Local Government Units, the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) informs the public that the October 6 and 7, 2021 Geodetic Engineers Licensure Examination (GELE) has been rescheduled to December 22 and 23, 2021 subject to the favorable endorsement of the Department of Health and directives of the Inter-Agency Task Force on Emerging Infectious Diseases and concerned Local Government Units.
