MANILA, Philippines – The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) has postponed the September 2021 Physician Licensure Exam (PLE) in the National Capital Region/ Metro Manila due to the reversion of the Modified Enhanced Community Quarantine (MECQ) classification.
Meanwhile, the conduct of Physician board exam at other testing locations including Baguio, Cagayan de Oro, Cebu, Davao, Iloilo, Legaspi, Lucena, Tacloban, Tuguegarao, and Zamboanga will proceed as scheduled.
The September 2021 Physician board exams will be conducted on September 11, 12, 18 & 19, 2021 by the Board of Medicine headed by its Chairman, Dr. Clarita C. Maaño and its members, Dr. Eleanor B. Almoro, Dr. Godofreda V. Dalmacion, Dr. Zenaida L. Antonio, Dr. Rafael R. Castillo and Dr. Raquel S. Sayo.
All affected examinees in NCR may take the next schedule of PLE without forfeiture of fees. Likewise, PRC is requesting for public’s understanding on the cancellation as they are just following the IATF. To quote,
The PRC requests the public’s utmost understanding and cooperation as it complies with the guidelines set forth by Inter-Agency Task Force for the Management of Emerging Infectious Diseases (IATF-MEID).

Several board exams scheduled on first and second quarter of 2021 were cancelled and re-scheduled (see below) due to COVID-19 pandemic. However, there were also licensure exams that pushed through following a strict health and safety protocols imposed by the commission. Among are the board exams for Medical Technologists/ MTLE, Social Workers, Veterinarians and Physicians/ PLE.

Why postpone the MLE, in metro manila, then sa provincial tuloy.. hirap na hirap na yung mga students sa pag aaral. Anong dahilan, Give some valid reason to the sutdents and parents. The students are expecting to have their MLE, sana earlier sinabi agad ng mga EXECOM ng PRC, they are all moron and dumb..
