The May 2022 Dental Hygienist board exam results including the complete list of board passers, top 10 (topnotchers) and performance of schools are released by the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) Board of Dentistry in one (1) working day after the last day of exams.
As announced, 11 out of 20 examinees successfully passed the exams.
The Dental Hygienist licensure exams (written and practical) were conducted on May 26-27, 2022 in testing centers in the National Capital Region (NCR) by the Board of Dentistry headed by Dr. Rodolfo R. Drapete, Officer-In-Charge and its members, Dr. Melinda L. Garcia, Dr. Carlito D. Paragas, Dr. Gloria M. Bumanlag and Dr. Merlin A. Go.

Release of Results
According to PRC Resolution No. 1439 series of 2021 entitled “Schedule of the Licensure Exam for the Year 2022“, the Dental Hygienist May 2022 results will be released on Monday, May 30, 2022.

Schedule of Registration
The schedule of online appointment for issuance of Professional ID and Certificate of Registration for the new Registered Dental Hygienists will be held on the following date(s).

Initial registrants are advised to register online via PRC official website via https://online.prc.gov.ph/ and follow the steps in online registration. Here are the registration requirements:
- Notice of Admission/NOA (for identification purposes only)
- Duly accomplished Oath Form or Panunumpa ng Propesyonal
- Two (2) pieces of passport-sized ID photos in white background and with complete name tag
- Two (2) sets of documentary stamp
- One (1) piece short brown envelope
PRC added that successful examinees shall personally register and sign in the Roster of Registered Professionals.
Verification of Rating
The verification of ratings and test results for the Dental Hygienist licensure exams given by PRC Board of Dentistry will be available online few working days after the posting of results.
Successful takers can refer to PRC official website and use the Verification Page to know their board examination passing rate.
As posted, a passer shall only provide the exam name, the date of examination, the application number, first name and last name and the birth-date.
Oath-Taking Ceremonies
The oath taking ceremony for the newly Licensed Dental Hygienists will be done online, now referred as the “e-oath”. The application system for the e-oath can be accessed online via PRC dedicated portal via https://online.prc.gov.ph/ and select “e-OATH” as transaction.
Inductees are required to print “OATH OF PROFESSIONAL” form that is downloadable at the PRC Online Services.

Dental Hygienist Board Exam Results (Stats)
Dental Hygienists is one of the PRC-regulated exam with the less number of examinees.
In the latest exam held on June 2019, 19 out of 29 examinees passed.
During June 2018 exams, 26 out of 38 examinees passed. Sanbert Christian Candole Clado from National University – Manila garnering 83.54% rating followed by Samantha Villamante Baluyot also from the same University having 82.59%.
In June 2017, 36 out of 47 examinees passed. Mercilita Loquias Dela Peña from De Ocampo Memorial College ranked first in the exams having 84.66% rating followed by Chriszar Mayor Mercurio from National University – Manila having 83.91%.
34 out of 40 examinees passed during June 2016 exams. Jazza Benice Noquez Umila from National University (NU) – Manila ranked first garnering 84.49% rating followed by Kathleen Bunque Navarro and Giana Louise Bobadilla Ravanes, both from De Ocampo Memorial College having 80.89% and 80.67% respective ratings.
