MANILA, Philippines – The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) has released the schedule of the 2021 Nursing Licensure Exam (NLE) through PRC Resolution No. Resolution No. 1283 Series of 2020 entitled “Schedule of Licensure Exams for the Year 2021”.

The 2021 licensure exams for aspiring Registered Nurses (RN) will be held at PRC testing centers located at the National Capital Region (NCR), Baguio, Cagayan de Oro, Cebu, Davao, Iloilo, Legaspi, Lucena, Pagadian, Pampanga, Rosales, Tacloban, Tuguegarao and Zamboanga.
Several board exams scheduled on first quarter of 2021 were cancelled and re-scheduled (see below) due to COVID-19 pandemic. However, there were also licensure exams that pushed through following a strict health and safety protocols imposed by the commission. Among are the board exams for Medical Technologists/ MTLE, Social Workers, Veterinarians and Physicians/ PLE.
Is the May 2021 NLE cancelled/ postponed?
Yes, the May 2021 NLE has been postponed to July 2021.
On March 26, 2021, the Inter-Agency Task Force on the Management of Emerging Infectious Diseases (IATF) has allowed the conduct of board exams scheduled on May up to June 2021.
