TOP SCHOOLS: May 2023 Chemical Engineer Board Exam Result

MANILA – The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) announces the list of top-performing schools and summary of schools’ performances in the May 2023 Chemical Engineering Licensure Exam in three (3) working days after the last day of exams.

The official results include the list of passers, top 10 examinees (topnotchers), performance of schools, oath-taking schedule, and registration requirements, among other important announcements.

The Chemical Engineer licensure exams were conducted on May 16-18, 2023, in testing centers located in NCR, Baguio, Cagayan de Oro, Cebu, Davao, Iloilo, Legazpi, and Rosales Pangasinan.

The Board of Chemical Engineering is headed by its Chairman, Engr. Ofelia V. Bulaong and its members, Engr. Shirlyn B. Chua-Reyes and Engr. Cezar S. De la Cruz.

Top Performing Schools

PRC recognizes the top schools (colleges and universities) in May 2023 Chemical Engineering licensure exams.

Below are the May 2023 Chemical Engineering licensure exams top-performing schools with 10 or more examinees passed and at least 80% overall passing percentage; as per Commission Resolution No.  2017-1058 (C) series of 2017, courtesy of PRC.

Performance of Schools

The performance of schools for May 2023 Chemical Engineering licensure exams in alphabetical order as per R.A. 8981, otherwise known as PRC Modernization Act of 2000 Section 7 (m) or “to monitor the performance of schools in licensure examinations and publish results thereof in a newspaper of national circulation”

Release of Results

The May 2023 Chemical Engineering board exam results will be released on May 22, 2023, as per Resolution No. 1589 series of 2022, entitled “Schedule of the Licensure Exam for the Year 2023“.

Registration

The schedule of online appointments for issuance of Professional ID and Certificate of Registration for the new Chemical Engineers will be held on the following date(s).

Date(s) of Registration: July 17 – 20, 2023

Initial registrants are advised to register online via PRC official website https://online.prc.gov.ph/ and follow the steps in online registration. Here are the registration requirements:

  • Notice of Admission/NOA (for identification purposes only)
  • Duly accomplished Oath Form or Panunumpa ng Propesyonal
  • Two (2) pieces of passport-sized ID photos on white background with complete name tag
  • Two (2) sets of documentary stamp
  • One (1) piece short brown envelope

PRC added that successful examinees shall personally register and sign in the Roster of Registered Professionals.

Oath-Taking

All successful examinees interested in attending the face-to-face mass oath-taking shall register no later than 12:00 NN of the day before the date of the oath-taking at http://online.prc.gov.ph to confirm their attendance.

Further, inductees shall bring ANY of the following on the day of the oath-taking:

  • Vaccination Card
  • Negative RT-PCR results took within 48 hours before the oath-taking

Inductees are advised to register and confirm their attendance in the regions where they took their licensure eexaminations and intend to register as professionals.

The exact date(s) of whether the oath-taking will be conducted face-to-face or virtual/online will be provided here.
