VLE RESULTS: September 2022 Veterinarian Licensure Exam Passers

MANILA, Philippines – The September 2022 Veterinary Medicine/ Veterinarian Licensure Exam results including the complete list of passers, top 10 examinees, and overall performance of schools are released by the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) Board of Veterinary Medicine in two (2) working days after the last day of exams.

As announced, 335 out of 928 examinees successfully passed the September 2022 VLE.

The September 2022 Veterinarian board exam was conducted on September 27-29, 2022 at several testing centers located at NCR, Baguio, Cagayan de Oro, Cebu, Davao, Koronadal, Legaspi and Tuguegarao. The licensure exams were headed by the Board of Veterinary Medicine Chairman, Dr. Ma. Elizabeth D. Callanta, and its member, Dr. Maximino M. Montenegro.

Release of Results

As per PRC Resolution No. 1439 series of 2021 entitled “Schedule of the Licensure Exam for the Year 2022“, the September 2022 VLE results will be released on or before October 4, 2022.

We also advise everyone to bookmark this page and follow us at our social media channels for the freshest updates on Veterinarian board exam results 2022.

Schedule of Registration

The schedule of online appointment for issuance of Professional ID and Certificate of Registration for the new Veterinarians will be held on the following date(s):

Date(s) of Registration: November 2-4, 2022

Initial registrants are advised to register online via PRC official website via https://online.prc.gov.ph/ and follow the steps in online registration. Here are the registration requirements:

  • Notice of Admission/NOA (for identification purposes only)
  • Duly accomplished Oath Form or Panunumpa ng Propesyonal
  • Two (2) pieces of passport-sized ID photos in white background and with complete name tag
  • Two (2) sets of documentary stamp
  • One (1) piece short brown envelope

PRC added that successful examinees shall personally register and sign in the Roster of Registered Professionals.

Verification of Rating

The verification of ratings and test results for the licensure exam for veterinarians given by PRC Board of Veterinary will be available online a few working days after the posting of results.

Successful takers can refer to PRC official website and use the Verification Page to know their board examination passing rate.

As posted, a passer shall only provide the exam name, the date of examination, the application number, first name and last name and the birth-date.

Oath-Taking Ceremonies

Meanwhile, PRC has started to do scheduled face-to-face oath-taking for newly licensed professionals. This section will be updated should PRC also conducts face-to-face oathtaking for new Veterinarian licensure exam 2022 passers.

The oath taking ceremony for the newly Licensed Veterinarians can either be done online, now referred to as the “e-oath”. The application system for the e-oath can be accessed online via PRC dedicated portal via https://online.prc.gov.ph/ and select “e-OATH” as the transaction.

Meanwhile, PRC has started scheduling face-to-face oath-taking for newly licensed professionals. This section will be updated should PRC conduct face-to-face oath-taking for the new Veterinarian licensure exam 2022 passers.

Veterinarian Board Exams Summary (Stats)

Veterinarian board exam is one of the programs with less number of examinees conducted by PRC.

In the most recent VLE held on March 2022, 288 out of 607 examinees passed. Mark Lawrence Gutierrez Atienza from the University of the Philippines – Los Baños ranked first in the exams garnering 85.92% followed by Jose Eldon Dela Cruz Sumeldan from Central Luzon State University having 84.76%. University of the Philippines Los Baños was the top performing school having 95.00% overall passing rate.

On the August 2021 VLE, 276 out of 720 (38.33%) examinees passed. Gabriel Gonzaga Comota III from the University of the Philippines – Los Baños ranked first in the exams garnering a rating of 85.36 followed by Carmela Marie Bongco Lizares from the University of the Philippines – Los Baños having 84.52.

During February 2021 exams, 292 out of 696 (41.95%) examinees passed. Jerard Angelo Ramos Rayala from Central Luzon State University ranked first in the exams garnering a rating of 86.22% rating followed by Keighley Shayne Ycaza Wee-Ebol from University of the Philippines Los Baños having 85.80%. University of the Philippines Los Baños was the only university in the top performing schools’ list having 92.45% overall passing rate.
