#WalangPasok: Class Suspensions September 29, 2016 (Thursday)

MANILA, Philippines – Class suspensions on September 29, 2016 (Thursday) are announced at certain areas by Local Government Units (LGUs) due to effects of bad weather conditions brought by Southwestern Monsoon or “Habagat”.

As of 7:00 PM, below is the list of areas with class suspensions on Thursday, September 29, 2016.


Metro Manila

  • To be updated soon as LGU announced class suspensions…

Provinces

  • Olongapo City afternoon classes – All Levels (Public and Private)
  • Bocaue, Bulacan – All levels (Public and Private)
  • Marilao, Bulacan – All levels (Public and Private)
  • Meycauayan, Bulacan – All levels (Public and Private)

Meanwhile, cancellation of classes for colleges and universities will be at discretion of school officials/ administrators.

PAGASA WEATHER UPDATE

According to PAGASA weather update issued at: 5:00 AM, 28 September 2016,

Southwest monsoon affecting the country. Meawhile, at 2:00 AM today, the eye of Typhoon “HELEN” was located based on all available data at 515 km North Northwest of Basco, Batanes (24.5ºN, 119.6ºE) with maximum sustained winds of up to 130 kph near the center and gustiness of up to 200 kph. It is forecast to move West Northwest at 19 kph. 

Cloudy skies with moderate to heavy rains and isolated thunderstorms is expected over Metro manila, Central Luzon, CALABARZON and the provinces of Mindoro. Cloudy skies with light to moderate rains and thunderstorms will be experienced over Visayas and the regions of Ilocos, Bicol, rest of MIMAROPA, Zamboanga Peninsula, Northern Mindanao and CARAGA. Partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers or thunderstorms will prevail over the rest of the country.

Moderate to strong winds blowing from the southwest will prevail over Luzon and Visayas and The coastal waters along these areas will be moderate to rough. Elsewhere Winds will be light to moderate coming from the south with slight to moderate seas.

    sana naman masabi kagad sa mga nag aaral sa metro manila kung suspended ang klase. kawawa nmn mga bata papapsukin tapos saka plang isususpend????????????
